Think twice before contracting with congstar

Ordered the "congstar komplett 1" package from congstar. Since I had a DSL modem, I did not ordered their "congstar box". Technician came only after 26(!) days and said that he made all connections and now we can use it. I plugged modem, but failed to connect. DSL LED did not flash. I sent email to the customer support asking whether line if functioning, but got no reply for several days (3). Tried to call them with extremely expensive phone number (I have only cell phone). Customer support guy couldn't explain what is the problem and start suggesting to buy their DSL router, but with even higher price. Why with higher price??? He failed to show me this information on congstar's web site. Finally my balance on cell phone expired and I disconnected.
I don't understand why is it a problem to set up internet connection in Germany and why it takes so much time (more than a month!!!). I am considering to change provider after all this nightmare.
